In an auditorium, acoustic consideration is a factor to ameliorate on good listening conditions as background noise, reverberation, clarity, speech intelligibility are the factors to be considered to attain good acoustic quality. . To arrive at good acoustical quality, the acoustical design of the hall is to be studied either through measurement or certain simulation procedures. In this study, the acoustic simulation of a school auditoria has been considered through ODEON  software and some of the acoustical indices have been examined in the context of better listening conditions. An impulse response of the space is simulated within the model for specific receiver positions, sound source, characteristic and architectural parameters of the space. The use of simulation model include perfect impulse sound source, full control background noise and a well-defined onset time of the impulse response. The most effective use of computer modeling is to predict the response of the hall with a specific geometry. In this study, evaluation of RT has been done experimentally and compared with simulated results. The correlation between measured and simulated results is good.
