For the development of effective procedure for detection, staging, grading and thermal therapy of ovarian cancer, ultrasonic waves are used .The goal of this paper is to find out initially acoustic speed and attenuation in ovarian cancerous tissue. These properties are measured with nondestructive technique used in material testing which is double probe through transmission technique. The study was performed on in-vitro human tissues which were taken from pathologists after confirmation of diagnosis of adenocarcinoma in ovary. Solid tissues were sliced and thicknesses measured. Results are compared with pathological features of tissue. Data corroborate the previous in-vitro results for other cancerous tissues with different pathological features.
