Mixing layer height(MLH), turbulence and stability are important atmospheric boundary layer parameters used in atmospheric weather prediction and air quality models. Sodar data can be used to obtain estimate of the MLH with high resolution in time and altitude. The SODAR derived turbulence and stability at various heights gives an insight into boundary layer characteristics. This paper presents the procedure used for the estimation of MLH using SODAR echo intensity profile, turbulence parameters and stability using SODAR wind components.
