The ultrasonic velocity (U), density (ρ) and viscosity (η) have been measured for binary mixtures of Anisole with Dimethyl Sulfoxide at three different temperatures 303.15K, 308.15K and 313.15K over entire composition range. The experimental data have been used to evaluate some of the acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (βa), intermolecular free length (Lf), acoustic impedance (Z), Surface tension(σ),internal pressure (πi),available volume(Va), relaxation time(τ), and Gibb’s free energy(∆G), Lennard Jones potential repulsive term exponent(n) to elucidate the molecular association in the mixture. The results are interpreted in terms of molecular interaction between the components of the mixtures.
