In this paper we have computed elastic, mechanical, thermal and ultrasonic properties of BeO and ZnO semiconductors in high temperature regime. The higher order elastic constants of BeO and ZnO have been computed using Coulomb & Born-Mayer Potential up to second neighbourhood. The mechanical properties such as such as Young’s modulus, Bulk modulus, Shear modulus, Tetragonal modulus, Zener anisotropic ratio, Poisson’s ratio and Pugh’s indicator have been obtained using the second order elastic constant at room temperature. As per Pugh’s indicator value, these materials are brittle in nature. Various ultrasonic parameters such as ultrasonic wave velocities, ultrasonic Grüneisen parameter, ultrasonic attenuation have obtained with the help of elastic constants, density, etc. The obtained results are discussed in correlation with available experimental and theoretical results.
